Stockport County Education Programme was next up, delivering workshops to students balancing sport studies with academy football. We looked at the holistic journey from leaving further education and the temptations that may come their way through aggressive industry advertising. Whilst we recognise a large proportion of adult's gamble socially, it was important for us to work on identifying gambling harm at the earliest possible stage, whilst shared lived experience stories of young players within the professional game.
