We are proud to announce that Against The Odds has once again been invited to speak at the Gambling Reform Summit, hosted by Peers for Gambling Reform (PGR), on Wednesday 3rd September 2025 in Westminster, London.

Following our meaningful contribution at last year’s Summit, we are honoured to return to this important national conversation, standing alongside respected voices in gambling reform. Our Founder, Aaron, will be returning to speak on a panel titled:

‘Is the current legislative and regulatory framework fit for purpose in regulating the evolving gambling landscape?’

The panel will also feature:

  • Matt Zarb-Cousin – Clean Up Gambling

  • David Zendle – Leading gambling harm researcher

  • Leon Xiao – Academic researcher in gambling regulation

  • Sanya Burgess – Journalist at The i Paper

  • Ismail Vali – Yield Sec, gambling market intelligence

The Gambling Reform Summit 2025 comes at a significant moment, with gambling harm continuing to impact individuals, families, and communities across the UK. Ongoing discussions around gambling regulation highlight the need for thoughtful, balanced, and forward-thinking approaches to reducing harm.

At Against The Odds, we are proud to offer both prevention and treatment through our education programmes and dedicated recovery support. Being invited back to Westminster recognises the importance of lived experience and the need to provide young people with the knowledge, tools, and support to both avoid gambling harm and access help when it’s needed.
